Mrs. Lucinda J. Johnson, Aged Resident, Passes
Away; Many Years a
Church Worker.

Mrs. Lucinda J. Johnson died Sunday night at 10:15 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George B. King, 1014 Heath Street, Six weeks ago Mrs. Johnson fell and broke her right leg. She gradually failed from that time until death claimed her.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Tuscarora County, Ohio October 11, 1834 and lacked by a few day of being 86 years of age. In her girlhood she was united with the Methodist Episcopal Church and she lived a consistent Christian life. She transferred her membership from Buck Creek to the old Ninth Street M. E. church, becoming a member of St. Paul's when it took the place of the Ninth street church.

Feb. 22, 1854 at Monticello, Ind. she was married to Addison M. Johnson who died in 1910. Four children were born in this union, two boys and two girls. One daughter, Mrs. George B. King alone survives.

Mrs. Johnson was a devoted wife and mother, a kind friend, ready to assist in everything of need, and a devout Christian.

The funeral will be held from St. Paul's church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. S. L. Rodgers assisted by Rev. W. E. McKenzie, officiating. Burial will be in Springvale Cemetery.
