Mary Prinzivalli Bongiorno

Bongiorno - Of Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1979, Mary (nee Prinzivalli), beloved wife of the late James. Loving sister of Mrs. Josephine Ferreri.  Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday Dec. 7 at 9 a.m.. then to Sacred Heart Church where at 10 a.m. a funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment St. Josephs Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 p.m., Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Clara Maass Memorial Hospital, Belleville, NJ.

Mary Prinzivalli Bongiorno

Lyndhurst - Mary Bongiorno died Tuesday at the age of 70, at Clara Maass Hospital, Belleville.  Mrs. Bongiorno was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Lyndhurst for 64 years.  Prior to retirement in 1964, she was a teacher at Columbus Public School.  She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and St. Michael's Leisure Club. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church and a member of its Senior Citizens. Her husband, James, died in 1964. (this was taken from the Herald News, Wed. 12/5/79). Surviving is a sister, Josephine Ferreri of Lyndhurst.
