Hercules Mooney (1710-1800), who had served in the seven years' war, was a member of the Committee of
Safety and House of Representatives; also appointed lieutenant-colonel of New Hampshire troops, 1776, and
colonel, 1779. He was born in Ireland; died in Holderness, N. H.
Jonathan Mooney (1744-1823) served several enlistments as a private. He was born in Lee; died in Eaton, N.
H.
James Jackson (1721-91) was a signer of the Association Test of Rochester, N. H., and one of the
incorporators of Eaton. He was born in Enfield, Conn.; died in Eaton, N. H.
Joseph Clark (1754-1847) enlisted, 1777, in Capt. Jeremiah Post's company. In 1780 he served in the
defense of West Point. He died in Eaton, N. H.
Henry Allard was a signer of the Association Test of Rochester and was living in 1784.
David Allard (1746-1831) gave six months' service, 1780, as a private from Rochester, where he was born.
He died in Eaton.
