Gerald Murray Hoffecker was my Mom's father. He was an electrician by trade and loved
astrology, traveling and ham radios.

Pennsylvania. He died on 23 Jul 1976 in Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas. He was buried on
26 Jul 1976 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence, Kansas.
SECOND GENERATION
2. William Davis HOFFECKER was born on 6 Aug 1888 in Glenmore, Lancaster Co.,
Pennsylvania. He died on 25 Nov 1961 in Lancaster General Hosital, Lancaster Co. PA. He

Pennsylvania. He owned 100 acres of land, 3 horses, 3 cattle. in 1781 in Chester County,
Pennsylvania. He Qual. on 20 Sep 1784. He appeared on the census in 1790 in Chester
County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in 1795 in Coventry Mennonite Cemetery, East Coventry,
Chester County, Pennsylvania. He died on 9 Oct 1795 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. He
resided Coventry Twp., Chester Co., PA. He was bound out to Heinrich (Henry) Benner.
Through correspondence with Cousin Erika Burger in Germany I was able to find that Johann
Phillip Hoffecker's father was Balthasar. It was break-through information for us!!
All reference to Balthasar is from me, his name was previously unknown until now (Jami
Self Hamilton).
He was married to Elizabeth BENNER on 19 Apr 1774 in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
33. Elizabeth BENNER was born on 6 May 1755 in Coventry, Chester Co., PA. She died on 14
Aug 1802 in East Coventry, Chester Co., PA. Johann Philip HOFFECKER and Elizabeth BENNER
had the following children:
