Book of McKee, p 119 says James inherited the Lisban farm
Rental Castlereagh Estate in 1801 lists James McKee with lease from 1788 at Lisbane for the lives of David, James 29, and Richard 25 [1801 ages]. He, obviously, was a deceased lessee. James also had a lease there in 1770, per, with John Hog, at a rental of L1.4.1 - 3 Mar 1770; James McGee Senr, Carrickneveagh is also listed in the 1770 rentals.
It also lists James McKee as an Elder in Killaney (Boardmills) 1786 MIC 637/2
Copy of booklet from Frank Fox, 229 Belfast Road, Ballynahinch, county Down, No Ireland BT248UP states: "His [John's] son James inherited the farm [Lisban], where his descendants lived until the year 1860."
