Died of consumption.
In 1880 a Frances Webb is living next door to Henry and Martha Webb. She
is listed with daughters: Ida, age 2 and Mary born Mar 1880. Ida and Susan as
shown in this family do not appear on the 1880 census with their parents indicating
there may be an error here and that the Ida living with Frances is the same Ida
as shown here. Henry G. WEBB and Christena 'Teeney' SUTPHIN were married on
23 Apr 1839 in Grayson County, Virginia.38
Christena 'Teeney' SUTPHIN was born about 1819 in
Floyd County, Virginia.5,34 She died on 4 Oct 1872 in Carroll County, Virginia.12 She was also known as Christena
'Teeney' Webb. Henry G. WEBB and Christena 'Teeney' SUTPHIN had the

and who died at Pond Gap in the Confederate service on the 29th day of Sept.
1862. Do hereby Constitute and appoint James B. Johnson of Carroll County Virginia
my true and lawful Attorney for me in my name to receive from the Confederate
State of America all moneys due to the said Robert Goad dead..." Due him
$47.20.
"July 1 1862 the date to which he was last paid to Sept 29 1862 the
date of his death inclusive 2 mo and 29 days @$11/mo is $32.1.3 Payable to James

Her gravestone reads Wife of two soldiers Robin & Henderson Goad.

He died on 15 Aug 1864.87
He was buried in Green Lawn Cem., #1067.87
The census of 1850 lists him as Granville. The Webb Reunion minutes lists
him as Greenville and as dying in the Civil War. Turner lists him as Grandville.
His war records list him as Granville enlisting in the 45th VA Inf. 6 Jan 1863

The Webb Reunion says Floyd married a Gilliam. Turner states he married
an Evaline last name unknown. It may be possible that Floyd married an Evaline
Gilliam.
A Floyd E. Webb of Carroll County applied for a Civil War pension stating
there was no record of age but that he was "near ninety." He claimed
to have been in Co. I 45th VA. I have not found any records for his service. | +130 | vii. | Jordon WEBB

WEBB was born on 2 Nov 1855 in Carroll County, Virginia.91 He died on 28 Feb 1931.92 He was buried in Dowdy Cem., Monroe Co., West Virginia.93
Armstead and his son Henry Posie and families can be found on the 1910
Red Sulpher District, Monroe County, West Virginia. The children listed below
came from different sources. There needs to be more investigation into the data
as to the relationship of Charles, Eva, and Polly Mae. These could be duplicate
records.
"Mr. Armstead Webb, a valued resident of the Glace Community of Monroe
co. for the past quarter century, entered into rest at his home last Saturday
morning, Feb 28, 1931, about 5 o'clock. He was 75 years of age and had been
in declining health for some time. However, his condidition was about as usual
until he was suddenly stricken and death came unexpectedly in a few minutes after
he became ill. Mr. Webb was an esteemed and highly respected citizen. He, with
his family, moved to Glace from Floyd Co., Va. about 26 years ago and have since
resided there. He and his wife who survives him, celebrated their 50th wedding
