5. Giles WEBB was born in 1790 in Grayson County, Virginia.¹⁹ He died in 1860 in Raleigh County, West Virginia.¹⁹
"In the 1830s Giles Webb and other members of his family sold out in Carroll County, Virginia and moved to Indiana. They settled about thirty miles from Indianapolis where they lived for about three years, but fever and chills were so bad they removed to Highland County, Ohio where they lived for about one year, then moved again to a point on the Kanawha River near Malden. After living there for a while they moved to Big Coal River, and moved again in 1848/50 to Drews Creek in Raleigh County." (Turner, Webb Families, p.13)

Giles WEBB and Rachel HORTON were married on 15 May 1807 in Patrick County, Virginia.²⁰ Rachel HORTON (daughter of John HORTON and Anna (HORTON)) was born in 1785 in pr Surry Co., North Carolina.⁶ She died after 1860 in Raleigh County, West Virginia.⁶ She was also known as Rachel Webb. Giles WEBB and Rachel HORTON had the following children:
