November 2005 - Obituary of Ogan A. Kidney

OGAN A. KIDNEY [Harry Bert, William Albert, Jerome B., Maris is probably a descendant of John/Jan Kidney, but I have not been able to find the link yet].

Medina - OGAN A. KIDNEY, the owner and operator of a family farm and trucking business, died Tuesday (Oct 19, 1999) in Medina Memorial Hopsital after a long illness. Kidney, 72, of Murdock road, was born in Gaines.

He was the owner and operator of the family farm and trucking business in Albion. He was also the owner and operator of Kidney Sawmill and Logging Co. on Murdock for the past 25 years.

In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, and work outside. He enjoyed watching and feedling the birds and was remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Kidney is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Virginia L. Stokes; four sons, Everett L. of Lyndonville, Dennis W., Clark, and Ogan Jr.; a daughter, Marilyn Schwarzott, two brothers Burt and William, both of Dunnellion, Fla.; two sisters, Clara Lyons of Albion and Ethel Minor of Dunnellon; 13 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 AM Friday in Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St., Lyndonville. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery.
