August 2007 - Construction Accident
On Wednesday, a large stone fell from a new building erecting at Buffalo, upon a German named Henry Laizer and a stranger, NELSON KIDNEY [John B./Peter/Robert Isaac/Jan], supposed to be from Westwillow, Stark County, Ohio, with such violence as to cause the death of the latter in an hour later. He had been employed only about four hours on the structure. The German's skull was very badly injured, but not so as to endanger life.
