Damon DeLong married LENA KIDNEY (baptised 13 June 1742), daughter of ROELOFF and ENGELTIE (Burger) KIDNEY.

Their children were Lawrence DeLong (born 18 Dec 1775), Petrus (born 12 May 1779, baptised 29 Aug 1779 with PETER KIDNEY and wife Esther as sponsors), Arie, and Peter.

p. 285:

Hester Deyo (baptised 9 Oct 1737, daughter of Jacobus Deyo) married PETER KIDNEY.

PIETER KIDNEY, son of PETER KIDNEY and HESTER (Deyo) KIDNEY was born 21 Jan 1772 and baptised 16 Feb 1772 in the Hopewell Reformed Church.

p. 456:

Timothy Doughty and MAGGY KIDNEY had son CHARLES, born 27 Oct 1799, baptised 26 Jan 1800 at Rhinebeck, NY.

p. 496:

Sara DuBois (born 24 Feb 1757, baptised 24 Feb 1759) married JACOBUS KIDNEY on 26 Feb 1778.

Their children, ROBERT, JAMES, and RACHEL, were mentioned by her nephew Peter P. DuBois. Sara died 18 Jul 1787.

p. 502:

The ancient documents include: "John DuBois, Peter DuBois, Jeremiah DuBois, and JACOBUS KIDNEY, all farmers of Beekman, on our about 29 Apr 1786, riotously assembled and gathered together at the dwelling house of Jacob Gulnack in Beekman and broke open and entered & other wrongs and great damage did to Gulnack." The defendants all plead not guilty.

James Elliot and REBECCA KIDNEY had daughter Elizabeth, born 26 Oct 1747 and baptised 1 Nov 1747, at house of Philip Cuntz' house with Cuntz and wife Catherine as sponsors [St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Rhinebeck].

  3. WILLIAM, born 6 May 1770 and baptised 3 Jun 1770 with sponsor William Elsworth.
  4. JOHANNES, born 6 Jul 1773 and baptised 27 Jul 1773 with sponsors Hannes Bush and HELENA KIDNEY.
  5. SALLY, born 6 Feb 1776 and baptised 28 Apr 1776 with sponsor Sally Baker at Poughkeepsie Reformed Church.
  6. LENA, born 27 Sept 1779 and baptised 14 Nov 1779 at Poughkeepsie Reformed Church.
  7. PHOEBE, born 9 Apr 1782 and baptised 23 Jun 1782 with sponsors Michael LeRoy and Phebe LeRoy at Poughkeepsie Reformed Church.
