Slayton, Dec. 25, 1876; she was born in the town of Leon, Monroe Co., Wis., April 9, 1836, in Calais, Vt., married JANE M. KIDNEY, June 27, 1858; she was born Feb 27, 1844. Her grandfather, Mory Slayton was born in Calais, Vt., mar. Toyphosa Goodwin; she was born in Bath N. H. He dies in the town of Leon, Wis., Sept. 13, 1873; she died Feb. 18 1892 in Leon, Wis. Her maternal grandfather, REUBEN KIDNEY was born and married in Little Valley, N. Y. His wife, Sophia Nichols, also born in New York; they were both buried in Leon, Wis.
