Stole Diamonds from a Stoneyard

"Jack" Ennis, a notorious Brooklyn criminal, and a companion named PATRICK KIDNEY broke into the engine room of George Cooper's stoneyard, foot of Third Street, Brooklyn, last evening, and sstole four diamonds valued at $100, used in cutting glass. They were detected by William Ryan, the night watchman, who fired several shots at them without effect. They were arested by Policeman Traub of the license squad and Bridgekeeper Dunphy, who captured the burglars as they were climbing a fence.
