President's Cousin Dead
Demise of Mrs. Mary J. Kidney, an aged Hagerstown Lady.
Hagerstown, MD., Sept 19 - Mrs. Mary J. Kidney, cousin of President McKinley, and widow of Rev. John Kidney, who died two years ago, died in Hagerstown today, aged eighty. She was born in Liverpool, Eng. Her maiden name was Mary Jane Forsythe. She came to America when very young, and for many years lived in Berkeley County, W. VA. She removed to Hagerstown eight years ago. She was a member of the M. E. Church. These children survive: Mrs. S. S. Middlekauff; Rev J. E. Kidney, Derby's station, PA; John D. Kidney, of Ohio; W. R. Kidney, of Kerkeley County, W. Va; O. E. Kidney, of McKeesport, PA; M. S. Kidney, of this city.
