John Sharp (1808-1880) and Lucinda Bessey (1806-1883)

John Sharp was born about 1808 in New York, son of Robert Sharp and Amy Hallett. He was married on 31 December 1829 to Lucinda Bessey. Lucinda was born on 2 December 1806, possibly in Erie County, New York, the, daughter of Philip and Susanah Bessey. In 1840, the family lived next door to Ebenezer Fillmore in Potter County, Pennsylvania. 

In 1860 the family lived in Jasper, Steuben Co., NY.

John Sharp died on 21 December 1880.  Lucinda died on 28 September 1883 in New York.

iv.    Mary Cole Sharp was born on 25 August 1840 in Pennsylvania.

v.    John Wesley Sharp was born on 21 May 1845 in Pennsylvania.
