Crouseville’s First Postmaster

Jesse Crouse

In 1875 Jesse Crouse, the son of Gould and Hepzibah Crouse, became Crouseville’s first Postmaster.[67] Jesse would dispense and receive mail from his home located in the Crouseville village center. George W. Greenlaw became Crouseville’s second Postmaster in 1884.[68],[69] George Easler was Crouseville’s third Postmaster, taking over the reigns from George W. Greenlaw in 1887.[70],[71] J. Wilmot Crouse, the son of Jesse Crouse, became Crouseville’s fourth Postmaster in 1897. [72],[73]
