The Descendants of Patrick Quinn
Generation One
1. Patrick1 Quinn was born in 1822 at County Donegal, Ireland. He married Elizabeth McDevitt. He died on 4 Feb 1895 at North Easton, Bristol County, Mass. He was buried in Feb 1895 at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.
Elizabeth McDevitt was born in 1823 at Nova Scotia, Canada. She married Patrick Quinn, son of (--?--) Quinn. She died on 17 Feb 1899 at North Easton, Bristol County, Mass. and was buried in Feb 1899 at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.
Children of Patrick1 Quinn and Elizabeth McDevitt were as follows:
- 2. i. Frederick2, born 6 Nov 1848 at Easton, Bristol County, Mass; married Elizabeth Fagan.
- ii. Carol Patricia; born 16 Jun 1854 at Mansfield, Bristol County, Mass.
- iii. Catharine; born circa 1855; married Thomas Connelly, son of Michael Connelly and Ann Edwards, 23 Jul 1876 at Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.
- iv. Anne Marie; born circa 1880; married John Flemming, son of Peter Flemming and Rebecca (--?--), 23 Sep 1902 at Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.. Witnesses were Peter Flemming and Mary Quinn. The priest was J. H. Looby. The groom was a resident of Easton and the bride of North Easton. A dispensation was noted possibly because he was a non-Catholic.
Generation Two
2. Frederick2 Quinn (Patrick1) was born on 6 Nov 1848 at Easton, Bristol County, Mass. He married Elizabeth Fagan. He died on 25 Mar 1938 at 44 Elm Street, Easton, Bristol County, Mass, at age 89. Cause of death given as Acute Bronchitis and Broncho Pneumonia. The age at death of 89 years, 9 months, and 14 days gives a birthdate of 11 Jun 1848. He was buried on 28 Mar 1938 at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.
Elizabeth Fagan was born in 1852. She married Frederick Quinn, son of Patrick Quinn and Elizabeth McDevitt. She died in Sep 1927 at North Easton, Bristol County, Mass. She was buried on 28 Sep 1927 at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.
Children of Frederick2 Quinn and Elizabeth Fagan both born at North Easton, Bristol County, Mass, were as follows:
- i. George Patrick3; born 24 Sep 1889; married Alice Gertrude Lynch, daughter of Cornelius Lynch and Mary O'Leary, 27 Nov 1924 at Stoughton, Norfolk County, Mass.
- ii. Ruth Cecilia; born 15 Jul 1892; married Daniel Francis Linehan, son of John J. Linehan and Nora F. Buckley, 24 Jun 1929 at Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton, Bristol County, Mass.. The marriage was performed by Rev. D. E. Doran.
