	1:00	Bomb explosion officially opens Centennial.	4:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.
	1:00	Flag raising ceremony at Central Park.	5:30	Ping pong demonstration - Band Shell, Central Park.
	1:00	Rides and Midway open at Central Park.	6:30	All Star baseball game, Central Park. Midland Little Leaguers featuring members of Ken-Van Company, Millers Furniture, K of C, and Elks Teams.
	1:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.	7:00	Style Parade of old fashion dresses. Band Shell, Central Park.
	1:15	Youth Parade: Pets, bicycles, wagons, etc. From Junior High School to Central Park via Ashman and Collins Streets. Featuring Grade School Band under direction of Eugene Lowrey.	8:00	Concert preceding pageant at High School athletic field, Midland High School under direction of James Starks.
	2:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.	8:30	Coronation ceremonies and first showing of the Historical Pageant "Pioneers to Plastics", 400 performers. High School athletic field.
	2:30	Novelty contests and races for youngsters - Central Park. Pig and chicken scramble for youngsters - Central Park. Lumberjacks log sawing contest - Central Park. Lumberjacks log chopping contest - Central Park. Oxen pulling demonstration - Central Park. Sawmill and log loading demonstration - Central Park.	10:00	Old Time Dance and callers contest. Rodd Street in front of High School.
	3:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.	11:00	Spectacular fireworks display.
	4:00	Amateur show broadcast over WMDN. Awarding of Pageant Name Contest prizes. Band Shell, Central Park.		Continuous events: Old Timers Club Headquarters - Community Center. Registration of Visitors Community Center. Rides and midway at Central Park.

	9:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.		2:00	Tow bombs herald start of Centennial Parade. Parade route East Main to Ashman, Ashman to Circle, down Jefferson to Nelson.
	9:30	Waterbattle on Main Street in front of Court House. Elks Lodge vs. Little League Managers.		4:30	Trained oxen exhibition - Central Park.
	10:00	Tour of the Dow Chemical Company leaving from front entrance on East Main Street. Tour lasts approximately one hour.		5:00	Exhibition of horsemanship - games and rough riding. Central Park. Saddle Clubs of Midland and surrounding counties.
	10:00	Log drive and birling down the Tittabawassee River from Emerson Park to the parking lot.		5:00	Barbershop Quartet program - Band Shell, Central Park. Midland Barbershop Quartets.
	10:45	Water battle at the Circle. Circle Businessmen vs. Main Street Merchants.		5:30	Model airplane demonstration - Central Park.

	11:30	Demonstration of log loading. Central Park. Top Loader Tom Wiggins and crew of Missaukee Lumberjacks. Operation of sawmill. Central Park. Art Martin and crew. Steam power by Merle Newkirk.		8:00	Concert preceding pageant at High School athletic field. Dow Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Theodore Vosburgh.

		Sunday Morning - Most of the churches in Midland and Midland County are planning special Centennial and Homecoming Services. We urge everyone to attend the church of his choice.
