Richard Leeper kilt

TRADITIONAL

HIGHLAND WEAR

Richard Leeper wearing the

modern Erskine kilt

In the pictures above, note the sporran on a chain, there

are no pockets, the Scots carry their money in the sporran. The kilt is

pleated in back and is made of a very tightly woven (almost water proof)

wool. There are leather straps and buckles to fasten the kilt in the back. A

good clansman always has his small knife in his sock. Note the Erskine pin

on the front of the kilt. The jacket worn here, is a little less formal than

the Prince Charlie (their tux) jacket. There is also a casual jacket.
