In the pictures above, note the sporran on a chain, there
are no pockets, the Scots carry their money in the sporran. The kilt is
pleated in back and is made of a very tightly woven (almost water proof)
wool. There are leather straps and buckles to fasten the kilt in the back. A
good clansman always has his small knife in his sock. Note the Erskine pin
on the front of the kilt. The jacket worn here, is a little less formal than
the Prince Charlie (their tux) jacket. There is also a casual jacket.
