Ebenezer or Wesley Cemetery

It is located in section 36 of Marion Township. The gate
and lane are off 215th Street, east off Logan Avenue, and 215th
Street at that point turns into a dirt road. If you go to the 1870
map you will see the size of the cemetery which may be one acre. It
is being restored by the Henry County Pioneer Cemetery Commission and
I believe they have found about sixty stones. At the bottom of this
page are links to 28 pictures of stones with dates and names. First
burial found was for 1851.
Sign west of creek bridge. We walked in as the gate has a
lock on it.
Remember to respect the farmers, they have a reason for
locked gates.
