It is located in the NE corner of section 26 of Jefferson township, near Finley Chapel,

on the corner of 140th Street and Gabriel Avenue.

I do not know the history of the church.

A pioneer cemetery is one that has not had a burial in fifty years.

Conover stone is in the middle of the above picture.

 

The parents are listed on this side and the children on the backside. There are a row of small stones to the north.

Stone is damaged so I enlarged the picture to try to read it.

Killed before Vicksburg

 

This stone was standing and the other one was on the ground in front .
