WILLIAM and ELIZABETH WALKER JEFFRIES had five sons. He was born June 10, 1824 in Ireland and died Jan. 20, 1885. He is buried at Scotia, in Greeley County, Nebraska. They changed the spelling of the last name to Jeffres after they moved to Nebraska in the 1880s, according to research done by DAVID JEFFRES, a descendent (of JAMES ALBERT JEFFRES). William and Elizabeth Jeffries had five sons, BENJAMIN PERRY JEFFRES (born 1856), JAMES ALBERT JEFFRES (born 1857), ELIAS WALKER JEFFRES (born 1851), GEORGE WASHINGTON JEFFRES (born 1860), and JOHN OSCAR JEFFRES (born 1865).For more details, see William and Elizabeth Walker Jeffres.

EARL JACOB JEFFRES was born Oct. 25, 1884, in Greeley, Nebraska. He died March 25, 1972, at age 87. He married MARY LEONE ALLEN, who was born April 24, 1896. She died Oct. 28, 1984, at age 88. Their children included CHARLES JEFFRES, ISABEL JEFFRES, and ERDALIA JEFFRES.

She was born August 9, 1918, in Adams, Gage County, Nebraska, the daughter of ROBERT JOHN MCCRACKEN and LAURA MAE SNYDER. She died Oct. 6, 1970 in Bayard, Nebraska. She is buried in Bayard. They had two daughters, BARBARA JEFFRES PERRY and BONNIE JEFFRES RICHTER.

She died Sept. 23, 1995, at Bridgeport, Nebraska. She married EARL WALKER on May 13, 1931, in Gering, Nebraska. He was born Oct. 6, 1909 at Kennebec, S.D., the son of THOMAS WALKER and MARY TROSPER; he died April 10, 1981 in Bayard, Nebraska. They had five children: DALLAS WALKER, DONALD DUANE WALKER, MAUREEN JOAN WALKER, GARY LEE WALKER AND OWEN DOUGLAS WALKER. She earned a teaching certificate after graduating from Greeley HighSchool. She moved to Bridgeport and then to Bayard. She died Oct. 14, 1991, at Loveland, Colorado. She married ROBERT BELDEN Jan. 20, 1934, at Harrisburg, Nebraska. He was born June 10, 1910, the son of JOHN BELDEN. She attended Bayard High School and moved to Loveland, Colo. in 1950. She was buried March 11, 1998 at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho.
