8. Dora Frances² Gibson (Jonathan¹); born 20 Jun 1891 at Jamesport, MO;¹⁴ married Robert Gaston Stubbs, son of John F. Stubbs and Eugenia Carmichael, 25 Dec 1912 at KS; married Earl Wilson Rusk 27 Nov 1934 at Columbia, MO; died 12 Dec 1953 at Bloomington, IL, at age 62.^15,16

After Robert Gaston Stubbs died, Dora moved her family back to MO. She lived in Warsaw, Hermitage and Kansas City, MO and worked at various jobs in order to support her three children. In 1927 she obtained a license to be an embalmer in the state of MO and worked in a funeral home. She and her sister Winnie, also owned and operated a hotel, boarding house in Hermitage and later in Warsaw. *See notes on Earl Wilson Rusk. She and Robert Gaston Stubbs appeared on the census of 24 Jan 1920 at Lumberton, Robeson, NC.¹⁷
