Werdie Craig, Age 85 father of J. W. of Blythe, Al of Paramount, Marie Hammond, Lucille Smith, & Susie Chenev of Fresno, Beatrice Frazier & Pauline Holland of Orange Cove, Frances Duggin of Blythe 28 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services Monday August 6, 1979 9:30 a.m. at the Smith Mountain Cemetery.  Under the direction of the Cairns Funeral Home, Reedley.

Service for Mrs. Craig

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 26, in the Cairns Orange Cove Chapel for Effie M. Craig, 74. Mrs. Craig passed away in the Dinuba hospital on April 24 following a short illness.

A native of Tennessee, she had lived in the Reedley-Orange Cove area for 32 years.

Survivors include her husband, Werdie Craig of Orange Cove; two sons, Alva Craig of Los Angeles and J. W. Craig of Fresno; seven daughters, Mrs. Marie Hammond of Reedley, Beatrice Frazier and Pauline Holland of Orange Cove, Lucille Smith of Fresno, Katie Nickle and Frances Duggin of Blythe, and Mary Cheney of Fresno; one brother in Texas and two sisters, one in Oklahoma and one in Arkansas; 26 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Smith Mountain Cemetery with Cairns Funeral Home in charge.
