Married: Elmer V. Boydston August 13, 1908 in Logan County, Arkansas.  He was the son of John Adams Boydston and Willie Josephine Henderson.  He was born March 6, 1889 in Carolan, Logan County, Arkansas and died May 28, 1970 in McAlester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.  He is buried beside his second wife Ella Mae Birch in the Hillcrest Cemetery, in Weeletka, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma.

Myrtle died from complications of giving birth to their daughter.  She died 15 days after her daughter was born.
