Joe Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Boyer of this
city, is now serving somewhere in the South Pacific with
the U. S. fleet. His address is: William Joseph Boyer S
2/c U.S.S. Phoenix 4th Div. c/o Fleet Post Office San
Francisco, Calif. He has been fortunate enough to have had a home boy with him from the beginning. Jack Boyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Boyd, and soon after being assigned to his ship he found in his division a boy formerly of this city, Herley Isaacs, who had been awarded the purple heart. Mac Hatfield of this county is also on the same ship. |
