Ruth Miller Gholson, 68, of Broughton, died at 2:16 p.m. Feb. 5, 1991, at Welborn Baptist Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

Ruth Gholson was a housewife.

She was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Hamilton County, a daughter of Samuel and Ella Mae "Reeder" Miller.

Funeral services wil l be held 1 p.m. today at Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro, with Revs. Delmar Feazel and Bill Gholson officiating. Burial will follow in Gholson Cemetery, Broughton.

Ruth Gholson is survived by one son, Fred (Star) Gholson of Broughton; two daughters, Janice Gholson and Susan Gholson, both of Broughton; and four grandchildren, Michael Eugene, James Timothy and Sommer Leigh Gholson, all of Broughton and Darcy Olson of Villa Park, Calif.

Ruth Gholson attended the First Baptist Church of Broughton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Sherman Hughes and one brother, Fred Miller.
