Pennington

Bobbie Lee Pennington, 58, of 133 S. Bellwood, East Alton died at 4:05 a.m. today at Alton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was a service clerk at the Illinois Power Co., Wood River, for 20 years.

She married James Pennington Oct. 30, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, Ind.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mike, of Prairietown, Ill.; a grandchild; two sisters, Vera coontz of Broughton, Ill., and Elizabeth O'Blennis of East St. Louis; and one brother, Ray C. Gaines of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Friends may call at Marks Mortuary after 5p.m. Sunday.

The body will be moved to the Rodgers Funeral Home, Eldorado, Ill., for visitation after 4 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services will be at Rodgers Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday with burial in Douglas Cemetery, Eldorado.
