Hollie Porter, 65, Of Broughton Dies

Hollie Porter, 65 of Broughton, died at 10:15 a.m Tuesday in the Pearce Hospital in this city. He had been ill for several weeks.

His parents were the late George and Ira (Barton) Porter. There are no immediate survivors. He was a nephew of J. R. Barton and Mrs. Phyllis Stephenson of this city and Mrs. Lawrence Horn of Wasson.

The Gholson Funeral home at McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements and friends may call there after 6:00 p.m today.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m Thursday from the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. John Deen will officiate and interment will be in Gholson Cemetery.
