Wilma Royster

EAST ALTON - Wilma Royster, 69, formerly of Dale, died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 1991, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 26, 1922, in Hamilton County, a daughter of the late Carrie and Grace (Webb) Tedford.

Her husbands, Wade Meadows and Jack Royster, preceded her in death.

Surviving are three brothers, Ernest Tedford of Sun City, calif., Joseph Tedford of Ontario, Calif., and Lowell Tedford of Monroe, Ga.; and two sisters Josephine Biros of Bethalto and Eloise Knight of East Alton.

A brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 1 p.m Wednesday until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Kenneth Brand will officiate.

Burial is in Digby Hill Cemetery near Dale.
