Broughton Man Dies;

Services Held Monday

Services for Louis A. Campbell 73, Broughton, were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Pentecostal church with the Rev. Bowers officiating. Burial was in the Trout and Essary cemetery in Walpole.

Mr. Campbell died Saturday at 2:05 p.m. in the Hamilton Memorial hospital.

Born in this county, Oct. 22, 1887, he was the son of George and Alta Patrick Campbell. he was married on July 4, 1908, to Ruth Hunt, who survives.

He was a member of the Broughton Pentecostal church and a laborer by occupation.

Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Opal Steele, East peoria and Madelyn Chilton, Carmi; four sisters, Anna Belle Roy and Gladys Heford, Norris City; Eliza Grifford, Madison; and Neva Prince, McLeansboro; six brothers, Frank, John Wilford and Harry, all of McLeansboro; Joe and Claude, both of Norris City; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Gholson's were in charge.
