Services for Mary Boyer Barr, 75, of McLeansboro were Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m at the Johnson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

Mrs. Barr died Friday, May 18, at 3:37 a.m in Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.

Burial was in the Oddfellows Cemetery in McLeansboro, the Rev. W. C. Ward officiating.

Mrs. Barr was born August 24, 1903 in Hamilton County the daughter of Floyd and Emily Caroline Viers Gholson.

She married William Boyer April 5, 1924. He died November 26 1965. She later married Paul Barr on September 6, 1966. He survives.

Mrs. Barr was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Also surviving is one son, William Joseph Boyer, Denver, Colorado; one step-son, John Barr, Evansville, Ind.; one daughter, Martha Jean Epperson, Owensboro, Ky.; two half brothers, Joseph Wilson, McLeansboro, and Lawrence Wilson, Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
