Blossom M. Storey

Blossom M. Storey, 91, Merrillville, Ind., formerly of Norris City, died at 7:33 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville.

She was born Jan. 2, 1917 in Rector Township, Saline County, the daughter of Greaf and Gertrude (Miller) Gholson. she was married July 2, 1936 to Charles Eugene "Gene" Storey, and he preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1984. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Janette and Bill Christiansen of Merrillville; a son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Judy Storey of McCrory, Ark.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, virginia Maga of Los Osos, Calif., and Nan Ella Sternau of Belleville; and a brother, Samuel David Gholson of Decatur. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Tucker, and a brother, Estus "Buster" Gholson.

Arangements are pending at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
