Broughton Baptist Church

Some history about it.  James Anderson Porter furnished the lumber for the church.  He cut the timber on his farm (northeast of Broughton), cut the lumber and delivered it to the site for the Church. This picture was taken after the basement was completed (door to the basement shows in the picture).  Mary and I, as well as my Sister, Charlotte and Joe Barker were married in this church.  I remember that a lot of the pastors had Sunday lunch with us.  Thanks,  Tom Young
