* Ralph E. Smiley *

Ralph E. Smiley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Pollard of Broughton. He made his home with his grandparents and attended Young School. After his graduation from the grades he attended High School at Broughton for three years, Eldorado for one year. he was employed in St. Louis for a year and has been one of Uncle Sam's boys since July 1943. He is now stationed at Maxwell Field, Ala., at the following address, Sqdn. D, Group 7, Class 44-I AAF PFS.
