Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain Park

Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain Park is a major part of Camden County.  This beautiful cave was discovered many moons ago by the Osage Indians, and is an important factor in the history and settling of Camden County.    The Legend of the Bridal Cave and the cliff known as "Lovers Leap" is a must read.  They still hold weddings at the cave, and information is available on their web site as well.   It has been rated as one of the most scenic caves in America, and Camden County is proud it is a part of it.

By land, Bridal Cave is located 2 miles north of Camdenton, Missouri on Highway 5, Lake Road 5-88.

By water, at the 10 Mile Marker of the Big Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.
