PARKS CEMETERY

In Section 13, Range 16W, Township 38N.  On the Bill Davis homestead, now owned by Jesse Franklin.  At one time this has been a beautiful burial plot.  Today you would not know it had a grave on the knoll unless some one showed you where it was.  Was told by Mr. Franklin more than a hundred are buried there, including two rows of graves of negro slaves, belonged to Foster, Davis and Dodson.  Eitht tombstones were found, each broken down, laying flat.  Buckbrush, dead limbs and logs and high weeds cover the area.  Cattle use the area for shade.

HOPKINS CEMETERY

In Section 29, Range 16, Township 39, first road left at Lee's Gift Shop, to the trails end, then almost a mile through the timber and thick underbrush.  At one time this plot was fenced but not now.

HART INSCRIPTIONS

Found in Section 25, R. 19W, T. 38N.  On Ray Eldred farm just two markers both flat in an alfalfa field.  Across the road from his house.

Catharine J. Hart, wife of John, b. 3 Apr, 1822; d. 9 Nov., 1879



UNNAMED CEMETERY

In Section 24, Range 15, Township 38, across the road from the house occupied by Frank Stanton, one lone grave, a concrete vault above ground about 2 1/2 foot high said:      "To be the resting place of Hal Bryant"
