Benjamin Snyder, son of Andrew, married PHEDORA
BLAZER.  Noami Denman from Tulsa, Oklahoma has
extensive Snyder records and history.  The family of
Phedora Blazer has a gedcom file at Ancestry.com.

The James Snyder family was from Perry county Indiana
and moved to Camden County Missouri about 1898.  We
have the marriage record of James Snyder and Mary
Florence Lawalin in 1884.
Flora Ellen Snyder was born to this family January 21,
1886 in Tell city, Perry County, Indiana.  James
married 2nd Ida west. The West family seem to be from
Perry County Indiana also.
My grandmother Flora lived to be well into her
90's.She was alert, active and happy up to the last
month of her life. She took care of grandchildren,
great grandchildren and friends children all her life.
Her mother died when she was a young girl in Indiana.
Her father, James, remarried Ida West and a son, Earl,
was born before they moved to Camden County Missouri.
On the trip to Missouri all the family got sick except
Flora and she took care of all of them in a covered
wagon. She washed all the cloths and cooked all the
food. She was helping other people while still a young
girl herself. I am very proud to be the granddaughter
of this little lady.

1878.  For most of my years of researching, I thought
they were the
first from their family to relocate to Perry County,
IN.  However, I've
been in contact with some other researchers recently
who gave me into
that his brothers Benjamin and William had already
relocated to Perry
County, and that's why my James brought his family
over.
