Census shows Amanda living in Beatrice in June of 1900 with her five
children.
D.C. lists place of death as University Hospital in Omaha, NE
(Douglas County). States that her length of stay was 104 days. D.C.
also give birth date as March 10, 1869, but 1868 is more likely.
D.C. indicates that Amanda underwent at least one operation related
to the cancer, and that her body was autopsied - probably at
University Hospital.
Amanda was a member of the First Christian Church of Beatrice.
She was also a member of the Fairbury Rebekah Lodge.
Usual residence was Jansen, NE.
