Birth certificate has middle name listed as "Armogine" - the "Ar" is
crossed out and an "I" is handwritten in.
She was called "Toots" by her Grandpa Bexten.
Along with Cousin Warren Fette, Ruth was informed of her Grandma
Bexten's death by her Uncle John (John Karl Fette) at age 11 while in

school.
Attended Public School in Nebraska through May of 1937 (age 12).
Received a promotion certificate from The Methodist Church School
(Sunday School?) in Greeley, Colorado dated October 03, 1937.
The 1939 Greeley City Directory lists Chester, Olive, and Viola (But
not Ruth) living at 1601 1/2 11th Avenue. Chester is employeed by
the Greeley Hospital, and Viola is employed by S H Kress & Co.
Attended Meeker Jr. High in Greeley for school year 1939-1940 and
received a certificate of athletic achievement for volleyball.
The 1940 Greeley City Directory lists Chester, Olive, Viola, and Ruth

all living at 1601 1/2 11th Avenue. Ruth is listed as a student at
GHS. Chester and Viola have same employers as 1939.
Attended Greeley Central High School. Left school possibly during
junior year in high school.
The 1941 Greeley City Directory lists Chester, Olive, and Ruth (But
not Viola) all living at 1301 14th Avenue. Chester's employer is
same as above. Ruth's employer is The Greeley Grill.
The 1946 Greeley City Directory lists only Chester and Olive living
at 1419 16th Avenue. Chester's employer is Weld County Hospital.
There is a photo of Ruth with no date taken at "Ghost Town 'Pitchur
Gallery'" , P.O. Box 56 at Knotts Berry Place, Buena Park,
California.
Photos of Ruth in the Raliegh Defense Plant Bowling Team, Chicago,
Illinois, taken in 1943. Sister Viola was a supervisor at the
Raliegh Defense Plant and helped Ruth get a job when she moved to
Chicago. Ruth also moved in with Viola at the time. They lived at
1020 Ainslee in Chicago.
