This collection is an attempt to provide information relating to the Kellogg Family members who settled in Northwest Louisiana around the time of the Civil War, and their descendants.
By the very it's very nature, a project like this takes on a life of its own. At some point, one simply has to draw a line and distribute the information gathered. My line is approximately January 1, 2004--all material is current as of that date. I've undoubtedly made mistakes, and will correct them in subsequent editions.
I have additional information not included on this site. This relates to people still alive, personal photographs and family documents. If you are directly related or have ties to northwest Louisiana, don't hesitate to write me directly.
