| James S. Giles was born in England somewhere in about 1850 - we are still uncertain as to the origins of this family. He married Louisa Rose (born c. 1850) in about 1870. We do not know if Rose is his wife's maiden name or her middle name at this stage. All dates relating to this couple are assumed calculations. | |||||
