Docked June 26, 1920 Saturday for a new Hull
I laid the floor plan and built this Boat - Double Chained her - used 8
Bbls Oil on her frame - Joseps Megagucy put this oil on - the cabin most
new 4 new rooms - 4 Boilers off the Steamer Duquesne - a complete
job all around - in the River Thursday November 18, 1920 - new Pitmans
new wheel 3 coats paint

141 - Wheel Core 16 1/4" - Diameter of flange 53 1/4" - 4

they are
wrecking the Steamer Ranger down at the Ways - she was originally the
John W. Ailes - she exploded her Boilers and I helped rebuild her. Years
later I as foreman rebuilt her and 15 years ago I built her new -
widened her Hull 5 ft. and everything to her Cabin new - also new double
chain braces and chains - now they are getting a new one of steel - she
is one of the last wooden Boats
