The first time JW writes about the CLYDE is April 22, 1914 when she has repairs that take almost a month to complete. On August 31, 1918 the CLYDE gets a new hull and on May 4, 1923 a new pilot house.  On July 24, 1923 the CLYDE docks and is almost rebuilt, she is finished on August 9, 1923.
