JW's first day at the Elizabeth Marine Ways is June 22, 1898 and the first boat he writes that he works on is the ED ROBERTS.  During June 1906 JW repairs this boat's rudder and puts 40 to 50 patches in the side and bottom.  The final entry is on September 15, 1914 when the ED ROBERTS is set afire and burnt at the mouth of Fallen Timber Run. There are several other entries which can be found using the search function on the Home Page.
