Steamer GEORGE ROBERTS photo from collection of Monongahela River Buffs

JW during his Early Years, 1882, writes that he works for Horner & Roberts Boat Yard, possibly as long as five years.  He also lists on another page boats that were owned by H & R during 1884 including the GEORGE ROBERTS.  It is not known which GEORGE ROBERTS this photo is of, both were owned by H & R.  JW worked for H & R during the life of the first boat, the second boat was built, using many parts from the first boat,  during 1889 and it was destroyed in 1891.
