The
photo above is titled Steamers HILLMAN and HECLA, as noted in the first
photo. JW wrote in his journal that the Steamer HILLMAN was at the
Elizabeth Marine Ways on two different occasions, to tow other boats away,
these two dates are
June 20, 1920 and
November
8, 1920.
This
close up of the
Steamer HECLA
shows the name to
be ACTIVE. Hillman Company bought the
Steamer
ACTIVE during March 1918 and changed the name to HECLA during June
1918, this photo apparently was taken between March and June 1918. |
