The first HOMESTEAD was built in 1919 and the second, pictured above was built in 1945 from the Steamer A. O. In 1978 plans were being made for the first Pittsburgh Regatta, a revival of the River Celebrations from years ago. The photos below show newspaper articles about the planning process with mentions of the Robert's Steamboat Trophy.  The Regatta continues in Pittsburgh during the early 21st century.
