Photo of the Packet J. G. Blaine is from S&D Reflector June 1974. This photo was taken at Brownsville, PA and has the Brownsville Covered Bridge in the background.   From collection of David Gratz. Photo taken at Lock 5 , Denbo, near Brownsville.

From collection of John Dziama

JW writes that the J. G. BLAINE docks at the Elizabeth Marine Ways during June 1900.  He does not give the exact date but it probably was after she sank at Monessen, PA on June 28 as she was then taken to Elizabeth, PA for repairs. The photo above, copied from an old newspaper, shows the JAMES G. BLAINE at the EMW for these repairs.
