The Steamer JOSH COOK is mentioned in the journal during early 1905 with " her head tore off." 

The center photo above was taken between June 1909 and April 1912 as she has the letters "B L" on the side of her pilothouse.  The letters stood for the "Barrett Line" who owned her during that time period.*
