Steamer Iron Sides came Saturday afternoon  March 18, 1911          Harry Fairfield Captain   Doc Fields  Mate     set on the cradles  pulled part out of the water  repaired some sheeting  2 or 3 outriggers slapjacked - one chock bolted - relief chain broke  S. bottom pitman strap broke   repaired and sent away Sunday March 19, 1911 afternoon   cold rain fell part of the day

Model Barge Neptune and Emperor in the River  Tuesday March 21, 1911   both repaired all around

Started Wednesday morning to build two new Angle Pump boats  March 22, 1911 - 4 ft Deep - 20 ft wide - 64 ft long   yellow pine floors  4 x 9  one end square one raked.  8 men on this job.  these Pump boats to be used at New Orleans ,La  for Pumping Loaded Coal boats and Bgs, (Barges)

Saturday March 25, 1911  for some reason John Wiegel Supt. has ordered some of the Best men laid off until more works comes in - F. Young - J. Reed - Wilcoxen - E. Reed - W. Dyer - Wm. Zimmerman - Wm. Kassler - F. Pancost - J. Duke - W. Morgan - A. McQuawn - L. Curry - James McQuawn -  also the calkers about this same number and all of the gang of Sam Pancost  some of these are good men

Monday night  Wind and plenty of snow  28 degrees  Tuesday morning 30 above

Monday and Tuesday  some repairs made to a Shanty Boat   this Boat is quarters for a man that oversees Loading of Model barges   work done by Max Taylor - E. Ausburn
